I ♥ Checklists, I really do. It pays the bills and helps myself and yourself get your project done more efficiently.

Checklists are extremely helpful to the process in this order:

• It's a good tool to get your thoughts in order and prioritize and map out the details of the tasks ahead.
• It keeps expectations in check, it helps me quote the project and you see exactly what you get for what price.
• It keeps things manageable and in percpective; the progress is tracked as we cross items off the list.
• Checklists keep things more affordable. Why? *It helps to keep me on retainer with flat rates instead of hourly.

*This has been tested and approved over and over with many clients as the most popular setup and payment method. In each checklist (batch of updates) you're respectably covered for revisions and other new small changes that might arise as well as troubleshooting, communication and consultation time and ultimately gives you more priority time.

What's recommended is that when the first checklist is complete you start compiling a second checklist to be quoted separately. You get more bang for your buck that way as apposed to paying me for every single and separate update as they come along at $35 minimum hourly.

I like to be helpful and answer questions and provide super simple courtesy updates on the house, but I do need to be compensated for and prioritize my time. So what $35 minimum means is every time you hire me even if it only takes 10 minutes it's a $35 minimum charge for my time. So, as you can see it would be much better to batch updates :).
